This thread prompted me to sign up for a welding class!  Grossmont Adult Education is offering a 36-hour long course for $300.  Starts July 5, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 5 to 9 p.m., goes for three weeks.  It is at El Cajon Valley High School.

Very cool Tony. Maybe out can share your experience here when you're done?

I did this course a while back, very good course.  Just get there early if you want one of the TIG or MIG machines as it's first come first serve and the same people will try to get those machines every class leaving you playing with the stick or acetylene

Since I'm off work at 3 p.m. I should be able to get there first.

Maybe they will have a broken Chinese trailer I can practice on!   :D
