Nice silver 2nd gen. Moreno Valley
« on: January 02, 2016, 04:16:49 PM »
I just got back from riding my road bike.  I spotted a sweet 2nd gen. with tons of mods.  Lifted,  front bumper with winch,  rear bumper with spare and a high lift.  Heading east on Ironwood. With a ride like that I figure he's got to be a member here.

I would bet it's Paul if you saw it here in Mo Val. I've been looking through his fantastic write-ups on wiring lights. :D

I need to find those write ups!  I know nothing about electrical and would prefer not to burn down my rig trying to install some Hella 500's. That pic looks like the X I saw... Sharp!

Here ya go, a link to one of his roof light installations: http://www.thenewx.org/forum/15-how-tos/4010-how-auxiliary-backup-lighting.html
It's for rearward facing lights but you could easily adjust the wiring for front lights if desired.

This is what I've been using for my current wiring project: http://www.clubxterra.org/forums/showthread.php?t=22770
