Just wanted to start a thread here in General Discussion to keep this important meeting on everyone's radar.

I have updated the thread here:  SCCX Adopt A Trail Thread with new information as it develops.

The next step is to draft the trail maintenance plan with Ranger Greg and then actually meet in Big Bear for a day of trail maintenance.

Please stay tuned, and a huge THANK YOU to all of the Club members who have already expressed an interest in helping out.

Happy New Year to you.
 
We do need to set a date to drive the road together.  During this time, I will show you the Big Bear Ranger Station, equipment shed, green house, lock combinations, trailers and all resources that will be made available to your club.  Once were done there, we'll be off to write a road maintenance plan for 2N02.  We will capture all road features, signs and unauthorized activity.  Discuss methods to mitigate challenges we'll face together.  Also, schedule any equipment needs (chainsaws, heavy equipment or ??) and supplies needed to get the road maintenance plan completed. 
 
So John, the next step is to set a date and hit the trail.
