Couple pics of the squeeze from Dec 2008.  There are about 3 other obstacles on this run that are deceivingly difficult especially with snow and ice. Make sure to have one truck at least with a winch.  Also, technically once you get through the squeeze it becomes a one way trail but I've seen guys run it backwards.

So who was the first guy that said, "Hey I think I can fit my truck through that...."?
This isn't Santa's Workshop.  This place smells like mushrooms and everyone looks like they want to hurt me.

Yep, got the TS done.  If you look at the squeeze photos I'm rubbing sidewall on both sides.  OZ went through and he's wider and I remember it taking longer than the others just because you really have to finesse it.  We also had an FJ with us which I think is 1.5" wider than the stock X.  He's the only one that got a little rub on the rock on one of his panels.  Oz has a good photo of Heart Attack hill in his profile which is also part of this trail.  That's the only time I've ever used the Vehicle Decent Control.

Here's my friend trying to measure it before we decided to go through.  ;D

Great run this weekend..  Had a really cool group, ran trails, camped , drank some beer..  Jim's new lift worked insane.. all had a good time..

Well..  dang it..  couldn't get my Titan Swap through  the squeeze without serious Body damage..  Took a little fender press (yes scrape) for the effort..

My synopsis Stock X width = 72.8" can make it wedged..  FJ width = 75" can make it usually a little scrape.  OZ made it not sure how wide he was in '08..  Titan Swap brings the width to 77.8" we tried placing the left tire low wedged and it climbed leaning into the rock before you could hug it, middle and it climbed leaning into rock for a press scrape, and finally placing the left side high - leaned in just a break shy of a high body shot..  Only took one scrape, ....  Actually, I coulda made it with some skinny pedal, a deductible, a body shop and a rental car for a week..  ..

.... buut  we bagged that part of the weekend run. I was bummed cause we didn't get to run the rest of the trail..  .  guess i'll have to do it ride-along with a stock width X, a gen 1 or a Samurai XJ7...lol.. though I keep thinking maybe we coulda stacked rocks under the right tire etc etc..

That's too bad. I was wondering if the TS width was going to be a problem. At the stock width there was no room for error.

Ahh. no worries..  98% of the time Titan Width is a big Advantage.  I wasn't shocked and had been thinkin bout the same thing mentioned it a couple o times..  .  I woulda been happier if everyone had continued for the rest of the run on Pinyon, I offered. but i would turned back as well..
Anyway's plenty of stuff to still do.
Jeff, you should head out with us next run!

I hope to get out there soon.  I've been traveling a lot for both work and vacation so that's been keeping me busy.

I have rear OME springs on order from rugged rocks so I'd like to get those in soon and do a nice kick off run with my new suspension.
