Wow what a weekend. My buddy is a welder for Total Chaos fab ( chaosfab.com) they make mostly Yota and Nissan off-road suspension.
Covered nearly 450 miles off road in 3 days, With 11 trucks total 10 yotas with long travel suspension and 1 Jeep. I road shotgun in my buddies 1986 toyota pickup.
Started in Phelan, CA to Ridgecrest, CA then through death valley to Gold Point, Nevada then to Benton, CA. then Mono Lake near Mammoth Lakes, CA we headed home all the way down the 395. with a few powerline road breaks to get off the highway. Its pretty funny to be driving on a dirt road thats running next to the highway and still be passing cars.
The rest of the group continued all the way to reno, NV
I took about 1000 Photos and some in cab video of us cruising through the desert at 70+ mph!
It's amazing how much ground you can cover when you are hauling the mail. My buddy Michael probably the best driver I have ever ridden with. Each day was like a 8 hr adrenalin rush. drifting turns at 65-70 ish gets the heart rate up a bit.
This was our chariot.
Here's a few shots

I'm hoping to head down to Mexico this year with the Locos Mocos Guys for the Baja 1000.
Ill post more pics later... maybe that video if it's any good.
