I plan on going next year, the other day I asked my wife if she planned on going with me. I am just trying to decide on whether to tow the trailer or rent a cabin next year.

If you take your wife, you should look into a room in a shared condo.

She will appreciate the amenities (nice kitchen, shower, etc.) and it really makes a nice place to come back to after a long day on the trail.

I think there will be a strong contingent of SoCal people going next year so this shouldn't be an issue.  A condo for the week runs anywhere between $400-$600 depending on which room your reserve (queen bed/king bed master suite) which is a steal when you look at the other options versus the comfort factor.  It saves money too, because we all shopped for food and cooked "at home" each morning/evening instead of going out.

Just a few ideas.  Touch base with Terry Lindgren, as he rented a condo this year and will probably do the same next year.  He was looking for cool people to room with, and you would fit that descriptor well.

I may have some room as well, depending on which condo we book out for next year.  I will keep you posted as well.
