New Look

Hi CA Xterra Friends.  Haven't post in a long time, mainly because I was jealous of all the offroading trips you guys are doing in the west coast.  I was able to hook up with NEXTerra out here in New England and actually went on a wheeling trip with them in Mass.  Very different than CA wheeling.  They expected me even with my Ram.  Well I am working on moving back to CA and decided to do some update to the truck before I am back.  I sold my bumper to a member here had my friend build me a tube bumper with new frame horns for a better approach angle.  Below are the pictures.  Down the road, the rear will get a rework.  I might swap out my current Deavers for some longer deavers.  If I do, look for my current deavers in the for sale section.  The rear will be rework with a beefier bumper and a tire carrier in the future.  I will be back next week and plan on doing some wheeling up in big bear if anyone is interested.  I will be great to see some old faces and new ones too.

P.S if you need sliders or fab work, my friend has a shop in Fullerton.  So if you need anything, just let me know.

Cheers,
Spencer

Spencer, great to hear from you.  Let us know when you get back out this way.  When are you thinking of moving back?

I was going to say that the sticker on both bumpers was a much too strong coincedence.  Nice truck Spencer, definitely post up a build thread over in Display Case when you have time and let us know when you get back to Cali.

Nice to hear you're doing ok out there.  About your bumper.  Doesn't the internal stuff look a bit too exposed?  Getting that ne-kid feeling...

The internal stuff is already crack. Eventually an engine cage will go in to take out all engine bay sheet metal.

It was fun driving the truck again.
