Well it's gotta me or Jayrat.  But that third nipple under my left armpit is a dead giveaway.
And yes, I do need to get out more often.
Thanks for the heads up Tony.
PS   I'm diggin' your bad ass trailer.

Come to think of it he has been MIA for awhile. I bet that guy got a tour at the PBR Brewery and ducked around the corner unnoticed becoming a semi-permanent resident alien.

SCCX Welcome Center / Re: Front bumper

To my knowledge there are no CAD drawings of any bumpers available.  The biggest thing I can recommend when building your own bumper with a winch is to tie into the front and bottom holes in the frame horns.  Any bumper that will have pulling forces needs to utilize the bottom holes as they are where the factory recovery points are bolted so they are braced for pulling loads, other than that it is all up to your personal preference.

Hi New to the club have a 2006 Nissan Xterra,  I want to put an aftermarket front bumper with wench on it but I would like to build it myself is there any CAD drawings out there? Anybody in the central San Diego area or beach area that has an aftermarket front bumper I could look at? I am a welder and I am thinking about building it out of aluminum .

I wouldn't be able to start til Saturday 3/28 (start of spring break)
the boy has school that Friday

We could swing being at the trailhead Friday (3/27) evening, starting the trial the morning of Saturday (3/28), and being off the trail Monday (3/30) by early evening.   Thoughts?

He never will, what works best for you?

Friday morning would work best for us.  This would allow us to work part of Thursday then drive towards the trailhead, camp Thursday night somewhere close, and be ready to rock Friday morning.
