I'll start out by noting that this is not my Xterra. There is a spot along the waterfront in San Diego that seems to be permanently infested with the largest concentration of pigeons (flying rats) that I've ever seen. It's been this way for as long I can remember. They mostly seem to hang out on the wooden railing, but there are 2 or 3 parking spaces that they seem to really like, regardless of what is parked there. I actually parked in one of those spots for a few minutes once - the engine wasn't even off when they started landing on the roof and bouncing into the windows. It was like something out of an old Alfred Hitchcock movie, and I didn't even try to get out but instead quickly moved my car. Just walking past this area is really creepy.

I don't know who owns this Xterra, but they're in for a surprise.

Looks like my new one, but I haven't had it downtown yet... ; )
Reminds me of when I had my '02 and I took a cross country road trip, and one of my stops was Miami Beach. The damn VALETS at the hotel must have parked it under a tree FULL of pigeons, because when they brought it to me after a day or two of it having been parked there, it was COMPLETELY covered! : / No apology or anything, either... the guy handed me the keys like everything was just peachy, like he didnt; even notice you could barely see out the windshield... grrr...
