Saturday i decided i wanted to roll up to the top of saddleback mountain for the last time before i move ands guess what happened. if you know me then you probably know that it involved alot of help from other people :) . i ran over a screwdriver that was burried in the road with the tip exposed by about 4 inches. my front right deflated instantly with that unmistakeable hiss. went to drop my spare and the exhaust that nissan installed was installed wrong and burned a whole through it. the sun was almost all the way down and i decided to call my mom and have my dad bring one of the four spares i had at the house. only to find out that my dad had thrown them away while i was deployed. so what did i do i drove down the mountain at about 1 mph with the tire flopping around until a friend of mine brought me his spare. did i do something to piss off the gods of off roading or what? hopefully im just getting all this out of my system so when im older i dont have these problems anymore. anyways thought you all might get a kick out of this.. ;D

I do hope that's the case. Some people deserve all the stuff that happens to them, and, while I admit I don't know you all that well, from what I remember I don't think you're one of those people. Where are you moving to?

How does a screw driver get buried with its blade pointing upwards? Sounds like one of those radical anti-off-road activist.

Maybe you used up all your luck on those deployments and don't have enough for all the little things. :-\

i should hope not. it was a fairly easy deployment and god knows that military equipment breaks down more than anything else. i kinda figured that i got it all out of my system...
