We all know how limited the storage space can get in an Xterra (it's still better than a lot of other vehicles of course), and Mitch's boys are getting bigger . . . so he decided it was about time for the Jed Clampett mod.

Once we got done with that we lowered his and Fred's front diffs, and fixed the broken mount on the front of Bobby's front diff. Here's Mitch making a delicate adjustment . . . with a BFH.

We actually got everything we planned to do done this time, which is more than we can say for the last time we got together to drop a few front diffs.

That was a great day. BTW, local law enforcement informed me that seat belts are required for roof mounted rocking chairs. Oh, and no shot guns. That kind of took the fun out of it for the boy.
