Coming back from a week in Vegas on business I needed to stretch my legs (and suspension) so I exited at Afton and made my way down to the Mojave River crossing. The camp ground was empty but there were four trucks parked near the bridge for people hiking. The water was a bit deeper than normal but not too much.
Going.

As I drove down the highway looking out toward to Soda Lake it still seemed to have water in it. The desert did get a bit more rain on Tuesday, earlier this week.

Very cool Paul! Great video capture there... any pic of the setup/mount? Type of equipment?

That's a GoPro Hero HD Motorsport package. The suction cup mount locks down to the windows, hood, side panels ... and shoots up to 1080p HD video.

I've been wanting to get out there before it gets too hot. Have to see how conditions go, I guess.
