I plan on going up to Big Bear this weekend. Can anyone recommend a good trail? Maybe some snow encounters? Anyone else interested is welcome to come as well.

Depending on how build your truck is... Dishpan and John Bull are fun

the x isn't ready for that one yet.

Jacoby from South to North ought to be easy enough. There's one squeeze near the end but it's stock friendly.
-
I was looking at rattlesnake canyon. I saw that you guys did that in '08. That might be the one.
-
Rattlesnake can be done stock too. Just pick your path carefully.

Let me drive, I'll get it through... However, It might be fairly wadded but the end of the day ;)
John bull few inch lift 33's and bumpers/ sliders good to have on that trail
Dishpan you could make with tires and lift, there is bypasses for the gnarly sections.
Gold mountain is supposed to be a pretty easy trail. I havent done it but here is a few photos of some dude in an LR3

I have no problem getting through a path... I can choose a line or if need be just navigate around it. I'm just not trying to damage it before I get some armor. Like I said at second look that trail looks a lot easier because you can clearly see the easy path next to the big rocks lol. Right now my X is pretty sharp for being a 2002 so I'd like to keep it halfway decent.

I may be interested in going for a little ride tomorrow, nothing major because my rig is still pretty stock. let me know.
-
I'm actually not going to Big Bear. I have decided on the Main Divide truck trail between the 78 and the 91 freeways.
I'll post a message with details.
