I submitted a picture of my X back in May going through the water crossing from the Mojave Road Xcursion of April of 09 and it actually made the Readers Rides in Offroad magazine Nov. '09!!!!! I want to thank everyone at SCCX for their help in building my Xterra to what it currently is (not counting the motor rebuild I'm doing right now. That's a different thread.) and for the great ideas you have given me Hopefully I will see all of you again with a fresh motor for some winter wheelin!
Here is the original picture taken at the Mojave road Xcursion in April of '09

Commercial magazine?
Did you get a written release from the photographer before publishing their work?

Hmmmm. Now who could that be.... let me think...

;D Just funning - hopefully I got a photo credit. Normally a magazine requires a release statement be signed by the photographer or at least an e-mail statement giving permission to publish their work.
-
Thats awesome!
regarding the photographer agreement... i don't think they require releases with readers rides being that the photos are sent in by the reader.
but with regular articles you are probably correct.

Their work?! That's my X built by me with the help of all of you guys! They're the ones who needed my permission to print my picture. That's how I see it.
However, looking at the BIG scheme of things: THANK YOU PAUL!!!!!!!! That picture would not have been possible without your excellent photography skills.

I had submitted that picture in April 2009 just after Paul had posted it. I actually gave up on seeing it in the Readers Rides section of some of my supbscriptions I have. That is, until I went for the mail one October afternoon...
Goes to show you that there is hope. 8)
