Only if they're UNBREAKABLE >:D
-
I will be in attendance and modding my rig at this event; I have Timbren bumpstops to install, some ICON's to install, some rear RADFLO's to install, and some new lug-studs to replace the damn factory ones that have zero thread left
There's a certain Canadian whose help I would appreciate regarding those damn lug-studs...

I'll be installing the SPC UCA's from FBinSD as well as Nisstec Coilovers...Could definitely use some guidance...more than willing to turn wrenches.

It looks like the CJ may not be back from the shop until the 21st. I have a ton of things I need to get done with it and the MOD day is perfect for it so I might be elbowed out. If it's not back in time I need to decide if I'll show up to help turn wrenches or not. Is anyone planning any big projects?
-
I have front and rear shocks, timbren bumpstops, lug studs and an incomplete electric overhaul to do. I'm not counting on knocking all that out in one mod day, but I could use a hand with a few of those projects...
-
Frank is doing a full m205 titan swap, so that should keep us busy for a little while.
-
Anything I can bring? Tools or otherwise?

Hey Toro, does Frank need any special tools for the titan swap? And are you still drinking dos Equis or...?
It'll be great to see ya out here sir.
-
straight forward stuff. Having exta brake fluid (for the SS lines), grease gun for zerk'ed fittings and cotter pins are sometimes overlooked.

Thanks Danny. I have brake fluid and cotter pins. If some has a grease gun I could use that would be great... if not I'll pick one up.

Erik, you suck!
Did I mention that there May be Shanghai rolls at this event ::)
So sorry that you can't make it pal :'(
-
I shall be there as per Frank's request :D
-
Disappointed I'm missing this shindig, the oldest daughter is in town and fatherhood calls. lol
-
Nothing to work on...wish we could just stop by and see all the peeps, the roster is shaping right up to EPIC levels.
Unfortunately, I'm working 8:30-5:30 spinning wrenchs, so hopefully next time.
Have fun fellas...please take/post some photos! :)
-
Well, my weekend project (my half-finished patio cover) has been delayed by the forecast for extreme heat, my father and law coming down with an upper respiratory infection, and my brother having other (paying) work lined up. So that means I'M IN for the mod day! :)
I'll bring a couple of projects of my own - I need to grind my front coil buckets a little (still getting some CBC at full droop), and I have some HD AALs for my Old Man Emu leaf packs that need to be installed. Randy - as long as you're passing her around like a cheap hooker, can I get some action from that grinder of yours? Do you need me to bring some extra cut off wheels or anything?
I'll bring cookies and some cheap domestic beer for hydration.
-
Don't forget to freeze your nuts overnight :o
-
Joe, your patio's loss is our gain. It'll be great to see ya here, and I got ya covered on grinding wheels.
I can help with your AAL, if you can take pics that will teach JT3 and Erik to schedule their weekends better >:D

Great times as usual! Special thanks to Randy and Nilda for being such gracious hosts, as always. I had a great time, despite not showing up until 2:00 pm. I have some photos to post as well, hopefully I can get them up this evening. xxSVxx - did you get a chance to throw some fuses on those circuits and see if everything was working as expected?

I know there were many mechanically inclined minds on hand...but I'm just trying to figure out how a tool used to cut wood crossed over into the metallurgical world? ;)
I'll just say it: "you had to be there." 8)
-
We ran out of wheels for the grinder so Randy used it to cut Dale's coil buckets. Worked like a charm.

Finally got some photos up from the mod day. Sorry it took so long. It was a lot of fun turning wrenches with you guys. I'm sorry I missed Steve and his award-winning Xterra, but I'll catch you on the next one buddy! :)
First, nice use of the AP Style book for grammar.
Second, would you all think less of me if I started introducing my truck to all the new people I meet as "Oh hi, my name is Steve. Oh, this, this is my award-winning Xterra."
:D >:D :D

We sure missed you JT3, now you're just gonna have to pay >:D

Finally did a tool inventory after last weekend.
Missing a Hobo Freight 1/2 drive 19mm deep socket and my 1/2 drive extendable(breaker) ratchet. If anyone picked it up please let me know.

Wasn't me, Danny!
However, I did leave my Alps Mountaineering King Kong camping chair.
Anybody pick it up? Frank?

Hey Danny, I think I have your ratchet and socket. I thought is was Jordan's....my bad.
Steve, I remember seeing the chair when I left. I wasnt sure it was yours so I think its still at Randy's. I'll double check my truck though.
-
Yep, I got Steve's chair. And I'm missing a craftsman 14mm combo wrench. Jordan left a few tools that I sent with Frank. When you put them away Jordan see if my wrench fell it that bottomless tool bag of yours :D
All in all, a great day boys.
-
I still have yet to look through my tools and honestly would probably never know if something was missing cause I'm not organized and I have every manufacturer of tools in my bag. I will see if I have your 14 Randy
