Post by: Rusty2Dusty on July 30, 2016, 12:22:49 PM: Hello, my name is Rza...yes like Wu-tang, but im not black...not like there something wrong with being black....just sayin :) As you can tell I love to joke around.
Im not new to offroading but new to this website. A while back I met this cool cat with a sweet Xterra in Escondido and he referred me to this website, I forget his name. All I know he had a freaking tent on the top of this X, pretty sweet.
Anyhow, I own a 2001 X 4x4 v6 with Total Chaos LT and king kong steering...new JDM installed last week...I blew the other one trying to climb heart attack hill upwards...bad Idea....broke the passenger axle in half! If only my locker worked! Stupid ARB compressor is malfunctioning and wont hold pressure, probably one of the valves. Anyhow, working on linking the rear soon because i hate leaf springs. here some pix

Post by: Celt on July 31, 2016, 10:11:04 PM: If you are snapping half shafts have you looked into RCV? Prior to installing mine I was singing the snapped half shaft blues on the rocks. It looks like you are doing a different style of wheeling than I do but none the less if you are jumping on the skinny pedal when in 4wd they have a tendency to snap like a twig leaving you crying the blues trying to pull the shaft out of the diff.
