I saw this pop up on CORVA's page on FB and I thought I would share it here. This is a two day course at the Hungry Valley SVRA and it looks pretty involved. It definitely goes beyond basic CPR and First Aid. The price appears to be $300 for the weekend, but it's $$ well spent. If you're interested, head over to the link to sign up.

IMO everyone should go to one of these type of events atleast once. Mine has since lapsed but a few years ago I took EMT-B night classes at the local community college, it was alot of work, but very interesting stuff. I really wanted to take a wilderness first responder class but never got around to it.
This is a pretty good deal, most WFA classes run around $250 and don't include a CPR cert, normally $100 extra.
