Title: Hello from Seaside
Post by: mcwrt.176 on January 17, 2016, 09:44:28 AM
Hello from Seaside,

Just moved into the area and heard the SCCX was pretty active in this area. I've been poking around the thenewx site for several years so the X is already starting to come along nicely. I was hoping to do a Hollister run soon, anybody have any recommendations?

Greetings from Pasadena.
Your pretty far north of most the group. We have most everyone in the San Diego area and starts to thin out as you go north to Los Angeles and the High Desert.
I've never been to Hollister but would like to check it out.

Thanks, I guess I'm still trying to figure out what's considered north and south cal out here. Either way hope to meet up with you guys on some trips soon.

Welcome from the High Desert. I love the Monterey area. Like Toro said, you're pretty far north, but you are more than welcome on any of our runs. In the most basic of senses, anything from the LA area south is Southern CA. and anything from the Bay Area north is Northern CA. There is also Central CA which is the San Joaquin Valley. You're kind of on the boarder of the Central Coast and Nor Cal. California is a big state and the regions are not always cut and dry. Welcome and maybe we'll see you at CANVAZ or one of the other regional events.
