Title: pretty nifty little book
Post by: CVXTERRA on January 10, 2016, 11:28:19 AM
hello again, my fiancé got me this book for my birthday today and it is pretty damn cool. Splits up California into 9 areas and covers 100 mountain and desert trails from easy to difficult. Also has solid information for those like myself who are newer to off roading, with tips on etiquette, safety, winching, and recovery as well as a bunch of other good stuff. Really nice book. full color and quality thick pages. Look forward to putting in serious miles with this thing by my side! just thought Id pass the info along, maybe one of you would be interested in something like this.

Dude, she got you the spiral bound version?
   That's marriage material right there.

Nice.  I've had the older versions for years, but was not aware that they had been updated or are available in spiral bound.

By the way, the Tony Huegel books are also good to have, with lots of great ideas in them.
