Hello Everyone. It's Riley, Celts son. This is my first post of hopefully many. I just wanted to show everyone the new family toy (Celts new toy). I'm so excited to get on the trails with everyone. this new toy is a 2004 Jeep Wrangler TJ Rubicon, with front and rear Dana 44's with elockers. a custom swing arm bumper with spot to put gas cans, 4" Rancho lift kit, 2" body lift, 9,500lbs winch, Air compressor, Daul optima batteries, 33" tires, RAD Air intake system, Poison Spider rock sliders, Full skid plates, Gravin Wilderness Roof Rack. I can't believe that it only has 36,000 miles on it. I have not tested it Off-Road, but I can't wait.

We got this to let him have a DD and to fill the void between the more very difficult end of rock crawling and overland that can carry a decent amount of supplies comfortably and with a safety factor in place. In the areas we wheel I need to choose my battles wisely when crawling. This gives us lots more options. Mrs. Celt wasn't overly excited about him driving the CJ5 every day, I dunno I have all kinds of fun in it. Anyway, he's so excited to get this out in the desert he hasn't been sleeping. I guess driving around paved roads doesn't cut it for some strange reason with him..... I'm going to let him loose on the Calcite Mine Road on his own to see how he does over New Years. When we went to CANVAZ, after the major initial obstacles of the John Bull, I put him in the drivers seat of the X and relaxed or just did some spotting while he drove the X and did so very well. I was a proud Dad on that day watching him negotiate obstacles.

Congrats guys, and I can't wait to run a trail with Riley behind the wheel of that bad boy. It's awesome to find one with that much work done to it already. Makes me wish my boy was old enough to get him his own vehicle, too. It's going to be hard to wait another 13 or 14 years for that. :D

Congratulations Riley! Very nice 'First Car' :D
Eric, you're gonna spoil 'The Boy'.
I remember when I was his age, I had to blah, blah, blah 5 miles in the snow, blah, blah at 4 in the morning, blah, blah, all by myself, blah, blah, more lies, blah, and I was happy for a morsel, yadda, yadda... F*** that! I wish that I'd had a cool Dad like you :-*

Yeah, blah blah blah . . . At least it wasn't uphill in both directions, like it was for many of us.
Oh, and congrats on the new ride Riley.

Congrats Riley, it was fun doing John Bull with you guys sharing. It'll be even more fun now that you have your own rig. You're going to LOVE hitting the trails in a locked Dana 44 rig.
