Please read...
I don't public share much that is personal but I feel it's necessary considering the circumstances.
My Grand Father just had a stroke and I plan on being by his side this weekend. We will not be able to host and I apologize for the inconvenience this may cause.
I hope to postpone this a few weeks but will have to see where we're at.
If anyone would care to host, please feel free.
I'm sorry and thanks for understanding guys.
Original post.......
Just curious if anyone would be interested in a BBQ/Carne Asada at my place in January.
0800 - For those interested, I'd like to do a Mt. Bike run the morning of and come back to my place for an awesome meal afterwards.
1300 - I guessing 1300 will be about the time we start grilling.
What's the word?
Maybe every 3 or so months, we can have a new host?
Interested in attending
-Painroller + 1
-SteveC
-Jayrat
-Knightrider
-JFanaselle + 2
-CAWoody
-Motopig77
This will be pot luck style or help fund the menu style
-
Mt Bike run will be an early morning excursion.
I'd like to meet at 0800 and head to the back lot of JPL in Pasadena and climb Brown Mt.
4 mile fire road climb followed by a tricky single track descend (named 'el prieto') or return by the same fire road.
Mt Bike run....

That sounds like fun
-
I think I should move to LA just to hang out with ya all
-
Love it! Pencil me and the wife and son in. Just the bbq - no bike ride for us. Can we bring a dish, or chip in on the Carne Asada?
-
Gotta check the weekend work schedule...we'd love to try to make this (and others, we have a nice "hosting ground") if we can. ;D
-
I'm In on the food. Forget that bike ridding stuff. ;)
-
Sounds like a great idea... Pencil me in please!
-
Umm, I don't have a functional MTB at the moment so no ride for me :D

What's up with the Nomad?
-
How hardcore are these ride. I have a MTB but I am just a poser.

What's up with the Nomad?
Needs a drivetrain.
Money canon is currently pointed at the xterra.
Too many hobbies, not enough money canon :D
-
Ahh I need to get my MTB up and running again! I've been riding road for a while.
Count me in for the BBQ for sure, and I should be good to go for MTBing again by January.
-
Sorry, won't be able to make it. My wife and I will be on the road coming back from a week of snowmobiling in Yellowstone.
-
Put me down for a strong maybe. If I can convince the wife, we'll be in.

Consider me a maybe. We would love to meet some more mtn bike friends!! Never been to Toro's place, where abouts is he?
-
Just follow the trail of limping X's you'll find him ::)
-
I'm in Monrovia...just east of Pasadena.
-
Please count me in for post-biking activities!
-
Count me in for MTB and BBQ. Happy to pitch in for the spread.
-
I'm assuming this is still on? I plan on coming down. If everyone's down, I'll bring spinach queso again. I won't be in for the ride, but I'll come down for the BBQ. Do you mind PM'ing me your address? Thanks.

Cant imagine I will not have work but I will try to swing by after. It is only a couple blocks away.
-
Hate to be that guy...but, we're getting some legit rain this week....does that impact your bike run at all?
-
Depends on how much rain we get thurs-friday, usually a couple days is enough to dry the trails out enough
-
Planning on making it out for the BBQ end!
