I decided to start a thread to give people an opportunity to share their favorite camping item. You know, that thing you love, that makes camping more fun and enjoyable. That thing you wouldn't go camping without? Links and pictures are awesome! ;D
I'll go first. My favorite camping item is my headlamp! I didn't think I'd like it or use it much - but Holy Wah! Where were these when I was a kid!!
"Hands free" takes on a whole new meaning when doing all kinds of camping type things.....
Just remember to turn it off or put it on the red setting when with a group of people ::) ::)
Currently - I'm digging this model (http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00T5F4K5C?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00)because it's rechargeable. But I also have and like this model (http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00UAJ2CXO?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s01) as a backup.
What's your favorite "go to" camping item?! ;)

my favorite camping item....it's a toss-up between my queen sized air mattress and my big agnes couples sleeping bag that i use when it's not freezing cold out....i looove the extra room and I can stuff a blanket in there and yeah.....i'm gonna stop now ;)
-
Coffee press (REI) and Camp Chef Explorer stove...mornings would be H >:D LL without those items.
Oh...and peanut butter. ;D
-
Oh yeah, I forgot my canteen cup to put said beer in.

I know this will sound cheesy, but I have long said my favorite camping item is the Xterra. Having the space to bring everything and the ability to access just about anywhere is priceless. Since the Xterra is probably a given, I will also give my second item... the camping bin. I have an Action Packer that holds pretty much all of the essentials. This means everything is ready to go when it is camping time. I don't have to worry if I forgot something or not. I also restock it after each trip so I know I have all the plates, silverware, etc that will be needed.

FIRE
Interesting.......I thought you'd pick the RTT....... ;)

Geez this is a hard one for me for some reason :-\ Most everyone has one already but I really like my newly acquired camping chair, I never really used one previously.

Camp chairs are an important piece of the kit.

The small pile of butt toasting coals under said chairs is a fine addition!
