Today I was given a tip to scope out my junk mail folder. Turns out you guys are every bit the awesome group I always new you were.
There I found a very generous gift card to the happiest place on earth (REI) sent to "Toro" from "SCCX".
I am very Thankful and extremely flattered to have been thought if like this. We are very blessed to be part of such an amazing group and to be a part of so many of your adventures.
Next Xcusion, the beers are on me.

Danny, you are an amazing example of how awesome this non-club club is....self-less, fun to be around and always down for an adventure. I'm glad you got your gift and I look forward to hearing what new toy you got from REI on the next Xcursion!!

As long as he calls his Ranger buddy before the trip, we should be good.....but, in the event he doesn't....at least, let's make sure to stop at that campground to empty the cabins 'just in case'

TMR = The Mojave Road Trip. Search it here for photos and past trip details. This is Danny/Toro's annual dash across the desert, which has slowed a bit in the past year to include some epic camping and exploration. It takes place each year on the third week in April.
It fills up fast, so watch the Xcursion section closely.
