Title: My build
Post by: Celt on September 08, 2015, 09:43:06 PM
Wanted to let you guys see the roll cage that's in my boys Jeep. I can't speak enough good about Jeremy at Weld Tech Designs. That guy really knows his stuff and said he will fab up just about anything I wanted him to do. He's fast and has great service. So without further adieu here is the cage. It has already been powder coated by ECP powder coating in El Cajon. Another business I can't say enough good about. A double coating for the entire cage was $380.......... I will upload some of the finished product pics when I get the chance.

He's pretty happy about this whole project. He's already talking about Moab, I've created a monster.

In all sincerity Erik...having the time and ability to work a father/son project like this, is...priceless.

Looks good sir.

We really have been having a great time with this build. Both of us are learning a lot and he's turning into quite the little grease monkey.

I think I'm slightly ahead of you in the monster creation standpoint.   Dani bought herself a Gen 1 Xterra and I can't keep her off the hill.   And she is committed to Gone this year.   So it will be definitely interesting to see the kids in action in Moab.   I'm kind of jazzed.

It's a lot of fun to be a proud parent isn't it?
