Hey.
So, some of you might be familiar with this thing called FACEBOOK.
It's a social network, great for sharing photos, tagging friends, posting funny memes or commenting on a video a friend shared.
I stumbled upon a group on there that, actually, might be of some use to SCCX, and I think we could offer it some help as well.
SoCalOffRoad Recovery
Basically, they are a group of 4x4 guys and gals who offer to help people out if they get stuck/lost or know of someone who needs help.
GPS coordinates are usually posted, and they are pretty strict as far as no ads, political crap, etc.
Just a bunch of 4wheelers looking to help others.
Anyway, here's a link to the page:
https://www.facebook.com/groups/716345525138593/?fref=nf
The guy who seems to be the main admin is a guy named Dwayne H.
Anyway....just a thought for those FB peeps who are willing to lend a hand.
Hope to see you all on the trails soon!!!!

I belong to a group called IBMC it is a group of motorcyclist , that helped out riders that we lost, broken down ,or need to set up camp in your yard for a night .
it is an excellent group.
Any group set out to help stranded off-roaders , can't be a bad thing

Works pretty well. The guy put a lot of effort in it.

Well done Christiaan, I don't do FB, but sounds way cool 8)
Jayrat: IBMC sounds like a Harley club, Jap bikes don't break down ;D
The yard camping sounds fun though.

From what I remember those guys are on the JustRuns.com list as well. It's a great thing you posted xxSVxx. Not a bad folder to print off and keep as a reference.

Joined! They seem to get a lot of experience out in Azusa Canyon!

The SCOR page will drive you crazy. It seems to be full of people that don't really care about where or how they wheel. There is an actual SOS page that you can join, it's linked on the SCOR page.

I actually got stuck in my wife's Kia a month ago, posted in the recovery thread and had about 4 guys offer to come help. It's a great thing to have!
