Title: Camping North San Diego

Will be doing a family get together this weekend and Mary hooked us up with Legoland admissions.
   We are tapped and want to camp instead of hotel-ing it.
   Any advise for a place to pitch a tent around the Oceanside/Carlsbad area?

   Since this won't, entirely, be a vacation, we would appreciate emeneties...KOA style

Not sure I can pull it off but I'll see what's available on Pendleton. Dangit give us a little more time that way we can plan for your arrival and put a pork shoulder on the smoker.

there are campgrounds along PCH in carlsbad
