Title: 1st and 2nd Gen bumpers with corners built in
Post by: Deadpilot on July 09, 2015, 10:38:52 AM
So as some of you know I created my own style of metal body corners to replace those stock plastic ones. Some have seen the one set that I have on my X and there pics some where on here of them too. I'll post a couple up once I find them.

But long story short... I am gonna start build these for people a couple at a time. And just a heads up if anyone doesn't know I am medically retired from the Marines and so I have appts that I go to so things can be delayed with that and with other things that are wrong with me lol. But if anyone is interested hit me via pm and we can talk more details.

I'm gonna start doing one off rear bumpers too. Some of you may have seen the work I'm doing on Alex's new rear bumper with the built in corners and dual swing arms. So the 1st Gen model will be done soon so everyone can see that and go from there.
I've been playing with 2ND Gen rear bumper with rear corner idea's so I some want one we can talk.

And just maybe if get super bored I'll do up some front bumpers for 1st and 2nd gen's

Hi Terry, I have some photos of the finished bumper. I plan to take some better pictures soon, but these should give a rough idea. The license plate position would most likely be moved on the future bumpers.

Also some photos of Carlos' bumper
After so minor adjustments and cutting so the revolving shackles he has would clear here's the final product minus the lights.

Any thoughts about cutting them in and up on the sides to help increase the departure angles?

They could be brought in more but then the body would have to get cut. Nissan didn't really do the greatest planning with under neath of rear body area.
