Title: Type 3 fire engine
Post by: JFanaselle on July 03, 2015, 03:08:27 PM
Shot this photo today during a small brush fire in Temecula. This is one of Murrieta Fire's "type 3" fire engines, also known as a brush rig. Pretty sure it's 4 wheel drive, and crawled up this hill with over 5,000 lbs of water on board and who knows how much weight in other equipment. Maybe I should invite these guys on the next trail run with us.  ;D

Come on Randy....really?  It's clearly there on my screen....big, bright red....all kinds of hoses and nozzles....

You might wanna get those peepers of yours checked....

Hehehe, Christiaan said 'hoses, nozzles and peepers' all in the same sentence ::)

Great photo Joe!
