Offroad Gorilla has started a group buy over on The New X for a kit to add struts instead of the support rod on your hood:

Just got in on this, too. Thanks for the heads up Sage Bromax.

I like that it's a simple bolt-on kit with no drilling/rivets. Good stuff.
