Mid-Week - Big Bear - Camping/Run
June 23 - 27
Leader: Roger Mullins 619.977.6796
Difficulty Rating: 2+ to 3-
Meeting Place: Snow Summit Parking Lot
Date: Wed. 6/24; Thurs. 6/25; Fri. 6/26. (Depart for home Sat. 6/27)
Meeting Time: 9:00 am Each Day (please arrive with fuel for a full days 4 Wheeling)
Depart Time: 9:15 Sharp
Comm: CB14; Ham 146.550MHz.
Lunch: On the Trail
Please Have All the JustRuns Required Equipment
I will be arriving late afternoon on Tuesday 6/23 and camping at Pineknot Forest Service Campground adjacent to Snow Summit. I have site 8 Reserved. I will be in my Adventure Trailer. There is room in my site for 1 more Off-Road Trailer and/or several tents if anyone wants to share my campsite. There is extra parking nearby adjacent to the site on the shoulder of the road beside the campground. There are lots of other accommodations in Big Bear.
On Wednesday I plan on doing Gold Mountain Trail and "Little John Bull" then touring around the Holcomb Valley. Thursday I plan on doing Dishpan Springs/Deep Creek
Friday trails on the east side of Big Bear, Pontiac Sluice and other trails in that area.
On Saturday I will depart for home after breakfast.
If you want to share my campsite, please let me know.

Clint that is the neat thing with Roger. He is so loose with his "procedures" that if you show up at the departure spot "ON TIME" great. If not, oh well.

It shouldn't, this fire is in a different part of the mountain and going the other direction. You should be fine if you avoid Hwy 38.
