Title: Question about the "Calendar" button above

Does anyone know why the "Calendar" button above isn't updated?  It would be nice to see things at a glance.

It has St Patrick's Day and the Vernal Equinox.  What else could you want.  Beside, on the last site if someone messed with the calender by posting the run the site would crash and stay down for weeks.  We've learned.

So how do you fix it so that it doesn't crash when you post something on it?  What if a single designated person was in charge of updating the calendar so no one else screws with it?  Just a thought.

Check the calender.  I did something.  If it all goes horribly wrong, Dan and John did it.  Twice.

I think the Admin's have the ability to access this feature, but it requires the creation of a post to link the calendar event to.

I tinkered around with it a bit and used the Azusa Off Road Park Event on August 25th, 2012 as a sort of beta test to see if anyone likes using the calendar for this function.
