I was on the way to the movies when I notice traffic going around an accident right at the 4th st. exit from the 15Fwy. to Ontario Mills. A young blond girl about 17 who looked like she was ready to cry, was standing on the side curb talking to the guy that sideswiped her car, exchanging insurance info with her friends with her. She said she had just bought it too. I think I was more annoyed at the fact that everyone around just didn't care to help and instead went around, rather than willing to help, but being the nice guy that I am, I attached the tow strap underneath and dragged it @100' ft. to the Costco on the corner to allow traffic to flow better and see if my X would do it. And in 4WD, it did it with such ease. I was so pleased and the girl looked a little more relieved to be out of traffics way. Just then the CHP shows up, thanks me, and sends me on my way. And that was my good deed for the day. Too bad I didn't have my camera to post a picture. Oh well.

A noble act indeed...
Unfortunately, our society is plagued with what is called "bystander effect." The more people around, the less responsible they become... as they would assume someone else would provide assistance.
...good karma for you!

Good job.
I didn't think those little cars had anyplace under the front to hook a tow strap to.

They don't. I think I attached to some kind of engine support brace or something similar. I dunno, it looked sturdy.

Thanks for being human and willing to help!
