There is a lot of easy 2WD trails in the Angeles Forest I like to take my Xterra up to.

Drove up to the Santa Clara Divide, from there there are numerous forest service roads branching north from the top. Most of it is pretty easy 2WD stuff, but every now then there is a short spur off to the side that will climb up a steep hill side, definately 4wd needed.

Eventually, if heading east, the road becomes paved and runs into Angeles Forest Highway, but from there you can pick up another fun forest service road to Mt. Pacifico. Once again, easy stuff. But the scenery is beautiful and the views are amazing.

In the map attached; Dark red line is Little Tujunga Rd, purple line= angeles forest hgwy; blue line= santa clara divide; yellow line= Indian Truck Trail; dark green line= 4N32; red line= 4N24; and the orange line =3N17 to Mt. Pacifico
