Title: [FOUND] Looking for crossbars!
Post by: steve c on December 14, 2014, 06:32:11 PM
Does anyone have cross bars and ends they'd be willing to part with?

I recently started riding my bikes again and a hitch rack just isn't conducive with my Hefty bumper.  The bikes need to go on the roof.  I'm really lazy and taking the front wheel off so the bike can fit inside is "hard"

Thanks!

I use a hitch extension to fit my hitch mounted bike carrier.  Might be an alternative.

I unfortunately sold my Thule T2.  I don't have the awesome hook up that I had before and I can't spend $400 plus on a new hitch rack.

Hopefully I can find some crossbars because I have a Yakima Front Loader that will mount right up there.

Does anyone know if similar years frontier crossbars will work on an xterra?

SloControl has or may have if he can find them a set for me in his garage.  Can anyone confirm that they work or don't before he goes garage diving/

Thanks!

My buddy Joseph with the white Frontier.  The roof rack is long since off the truck.  I think I have a line on some.

No I ment, who else has a fronty that still has a roof rack so they can measure how wide it is to see if the crossbars are the same.  If I had a dephep I would give you mine.
