Can you camp along the AAT trail in Big Bear or on a off shoot of it? Looking to head up in a couple weeks and wanted to spend a night under the stars....

There are yellow post campsites that are first come first serve scattered around big bear lake.  Google can bring up maps and write ups for the various yellow post sites.
