Title: So I might be moving to LA...
Post by: knightrider on September 23, 2014, 11:53:30 AM
So my job may need me to relocate to Los Angeles to work on a new project at the airports.  need some input, like where to live.  I will be primarily working at LAX but will also have to occasionally go to the other commercial airports in the city like burbank and ontario.  I know budget is a big thing and mine is pretty small, maybe $1200.  anyone got a room for rent? :)

Depending on your budget, and what you are looking for, there is a nice apartment complex not very far from the airport.  Pacific Place Apartment are real nice, sub terrain garage (tall enough to accommodate lifted vehicles) and great amenities.  Del Air (sp?) is real nice neighborhood near by too.  I work in the El Segundo area, but live in San Pedro (Air Force Family housing).

All I need is a garage :) a bedroom and kitchen would just be a bonus.

Nick's idea sounds good.  There is no reason to worry about Burbank or Ontario because they are opposite the traffic flow.  LA is all about traffic! >:(

Yea I'm definetly looking to stay around lax since I will be there most of the time.  It will also help that I will be working out of wherever I live, so I don't have to worry about rush hour, not that that really matters, its always rush hour in LA.
