Subject: [SBNF_AAT_Leadership] Black Diamond Run 8/3/14
Hello Adopt-a-Trail Folks!
I will be leading a most difficult (for some) 4x4 run this Sunday. Running Gold Mountain, Jacoby Canyon, Horsethief Flats and maybe (if we have time) Tip Top Mountain.
Stock 4x4's can negotiate these trails with difficulty and as a result, could sustain damage(s). A modified 4x4 is recommended.
We'll be meeting at Big Bear Discovery Center at 0830 and leaving at 0900 to enter the forest. Be prepared with a full tank of gas, food, CB, water and extra clothes (just in case).
Hope to see ya there,
Greg.

If you do, please let us know all the hours that you spend on the trail doing any work. This is reported to the AAT program in SCCX's behalf.
P.S. These are door to door hours I.E. From the time you walk out the door in the morning to the time you pull into your driveway at home after the run.

Well a great day has had by all two of us. There were over 30 rigs that showed up to do this. It rained virtually all day and let me tell you Gold Mtn. is really different.
This is looking back at BB at about 7000 feet:
