Hello there.
Just joined the Xterra world with a new Pro-4X after over 20 years as a Jeep guy (nothing in the Jeep lineup was like my old XJ Cherokee).
Looking forward to meeting fellow Xterra owners and hitting some trails together.
So far the Xterra is stock, but it probably won't stay that way for long... ;)

Welcome from the High Desert.
Hey Danny, maybe he's from my area and the first picture isn't far from his house.
-
You should be proud to have the 3rd deadliest bridge in America. We, here, in Los Angeles die the good o'le way.....

Welcome from North
SAN DIEGO
I like the blue, first one I've seen.

Thanks everyone for the welcome...
Insofar as the mods, it's not so much that they're more expensive than the Jeep's, but damn, they're hard to find. I guess I got spoiled by what's available for Jeeps, but, heck, even in the Jeep world, the Cherokee was 2nd fiddle to what was available for the Wranglers. So it just means that I'm going to have to work harder at it, that's all... ;)
insofar as to where I'm from, well, let's see... I live in the LA Southbay area now (Torrance) but I lived in San Diego for about a ten years, so Anza Borrego is my favorite off road locale. In fact the picture of the Xterra in the sand was taken at Font's Point when she only had like 500 miles on her and right before going on the Calcite Mine trail. Would love to eventually find good spots closer to home so it doesn't always have to take 3 hors to find a decent trail.
Hope to go on some trails with some of you guys down the road, and take care.

That is one tough thing about Xterras. There are only 15 years worth of experimenting with Xterras compared to decades worth of people playing with various Jeeps. The computer systems of the new Xterras don't make modifications any easier. One nice thing is that the stuff that is on the market for us works and comes from companies that stand by their products.

Good point about the time interval. Hadn't thought about it that way.
