Hey guys! Just bought a 2003 X. I love being part of a group no matter what I do. And I'm BRAND NEW to offroading. My X is not a 4x4 but it is a 5 speed giving me just a little advantage over some of the other automatic 2wd guys...I think. I know It won't do rocks, but I'm sure I can do some lighter trails ect. I am pretty look oriented and if anyone has any easier/not too expensive little mods that work well, I'm all ears!! Thanks guys, look forward to reading some posts and meeting some of ya'll here soon! Oh, side note, I was rear-ended a week after picking my new baby up...sadly, it's in the shop getting fixed now so hopefully back up and running in the next couple weeks :(

Welcome Solid,
Read, read, read, here and at 'The New X' for ideas, and come out for the next run that you can make. Bring cookies and you will get more advice than you can use :D

Welcome, it's nice to have a new Gen 1.5 on the site. The first thing you could do is tires and remove your mudflaps. Or you can be like me and let the trails remove the mudflaps for you.
Good tires make a big difference...
