Hey SCCX!!

I've been busy with my band lately and miss all you wonderful folk! Wanted to extend an invitation to a family & friends desert camping and firearms training weekend we'll be hosting in January, Friday 3rd - Sunday 5th.
Lead by my vocalists father, a Sheriff and former Marine (knowledgeable to say the least), we'll be heading east past Palm Springs and Indio to a camp ground held close to heart with all of our family.
We will be off roading, shooting guns and cross bows, and (once the night comes and all is safely stored away under lock and key) feasting and drinking!! Please let me know if anyone would be interested in joining up. Much of the crowd will be my friends (early 20's) so I can't say it will exactly be young child / family friendly, but I'd be honored to have some SCCX guys join us to shoot and get some desert running done!

This will indeed be rustic - with our trucks of course so we can bring the comforts of home, but restroom wise will be shovels, tp and baby wipes. Very secluded so no worries on any unwanted attention, but we will be climbing out of our ravine to higher, more secluded ground for such things.
We'll also be bringing and cooking a whole deer leg, spit over the open fire. ;D

Ended up having a pretty awesome venture, and a friend who just happens to have a 4x4 '8 Xterra joined in on the fun! All in all, four trucks (which happened to all be silver - great convoy) + a dirt bike, eleven people and 20 things that went boom.
Days sat around 80 and nights got down to around 40. Used a single bike mount on the X's hitch. With 4 people, gear, water, ammo etc + the bike... I could tell how badly I need new leaf springs >.<
Hd of a weekend and we'd be thrilled to have any SCCX'rs in on the next one! Shooting for February or March, before it gets too hot.
