some peeps dont learn well from books, so these classes help those fellers.  and ill give another hoohaa to the practice tests.

If you are determined to get your ticket, it might not hurt to just buy a radio and listen. ( It's only illegal to transmit without a license.) You can learn a lot by listening to nets.

That is a good idea, I this before I had my ticket.  Most ht radios can lock out the PTT button so you don't accidentally transmit

I know.  The instructors here said they hand deliver to the VEC in La Mesa, who inputs into the FCC system by Monday.  After the FCC computers refresh at midnight,  my callsign will be live on the FCC site. I wont have the paper license in hand for a while, but, I can still TX with just my call sign according to the instructors.   ;D

Hey Justin.  That is worth 2-3 weeks of anquish then.  My testers must have sent their paperwork by ox cart. That's cool you will be on the air momentarily...  ;D
