Title: New to the group 2011 xterra 4x4
Post by: LBSlide on August 23, 2013, 09:18:26 AM
Hey guys I'm Mike new to the group but familiar with 4x4. I have my own truck now and ready to start from ground up. I'm not afraid to get dirty or do the work myself with the right tools. I'm headed out to hungry valley ohv park 8/23-8/24. Any spots I should really see or avoid. I don't mind driving a bit if it somewhere near by. Talk to everyone soon.

Welcome Mike...glad you took the lead from Facebook and posted up here.

I did a quick "search" for Hungry Valley here at SCCX...I encourage you to do the same.

Here is a link to some cool pictures and a brief Xcursion report from a few years ago you might find helpful:

Good luck and hope to see you on the trails soon.

Thanks guys. Checked out the link and really made me want to go. Had a blast with my rig . Some to most of the northern trails were closed due to a rally car race that wasn't posted anywhere I could find before I got there. The pay kiosk attendant let me know. So I took a trail and had to turn around a part of the way through...turning around on a one way trail great test for anyone. I also got my tuck to teeter totter on 2 wheels when driving out....sick for being all stock and not airing down my tires. Ill post some pics when i figure this out more. Thanks again guys can't wait to ride in a big group!
