Me and Jordan decided to go play in the desert on Saturday near and around Superstition Mtn...

so, on the subject of christiaan gettting stuck, this is directed at you autobox dudes, any reason his truck would be revving without spinning the tires?  i didnt want to alarm christiaan at the time but that doesnt sound like a very good thing, or is this normal.  will your engine rev up and you go nowhere?

Did he have his AC on? Normally if I have my AC on full blast it'll sound like I'm revving up when I'm idle.

If he was in 4-hi there's not enough torque in the 3.36 gear to turn a stuck set of tires. The engine will rev but won't go anywhere.
    If I know Christian....and I think I do....he was in 4-hi going warp-9 until he got stuck.

ok cool, yea he was in 4hi, 4lo fixed his movement issue. overall i think christiaan being at 18 psi was the main culprit of him getting stuck, and the deeeeeep sand :)

Yeah, in deep sand with D load tires I'm at 10-12psi. If he's on E load tires, in my opinion, 18psi is not even close to low enough for flotation.

Not to mention the weight...with full armor etc., Xterra's are not the most svelte of sand going vehicles...tend to drop like stone in sand...which rhymes with phone...which... :P

For the record, I had boots and shoes in my rig....but that sand....it was sooo soft....I've never felt sand that soft before...I'm glad I was in sandals when Jordan got me stuck....errr.....the sun got in my eyes.....errr......my navigator was too busy yapping to tell me that I was a little right of the harder ground.....errr....

Who am I fooling....we all know it was Ghost X's fault....
