I know I've mentioned this to some of the SCCX members here but there are some great nets on the Keller peak repeater. we've been doing these for a few years now without missing a beat.
I highly recommend that you guys check it out, there is a lot to learn and even feel free to chime in!
Outdoor Adventure Ham Radio Net (http://www.oausa.net)

Steven...thanks for posting this up on SCCX.
Not quite sure where/how the site went down today.
-
No worries! It happens.
Just another note on the net, if you're away from the radio you can listen to the Keller peak repeater online at the Keller peak repeater associations website.

Thank you Sir.

No problem!
This weeks net just wrapped up!
It was pretty informative.
Next weeks topic is APRS.
(Automatic position reporting system)
I know there have been some people here at sccx that were pretty interested in it when I've mentioned it to them in the past.
There are multiple ways to get on and use the aprs system most of which I think will be covered in next weeks net.
If for some reason you're not at a radio and want to atleast listen, you can visit http://kpra.net/listen.html
The net officially starts at 7:30pm every thursday but intro and checkins usually take about 20-30 minutes. I hope to hear some of you guys on the air, checking in and sharing what you know, and learning from others.
