Title: Went up to Oregon to do some wheeling with old Friends
Post by: ultrapc40 on August 01, 2013, 09:56:45 AM
Not sure if you guys know Brian, I met him on SCCX back in 2003, super fun guy, he came down from WA to meet up with us.  He can drive his mostly stock X through anything and is not afraid to air it out (see video), this thing has 200k+ miles, tows two quads and now has blow shocks and he still wheel it like he stole it.

We hit up the sand dunes in Christmas Valley, OR, then took Lost Forest trail and hit some whoops.  We managed to find a dirt trail from my friends house to Christmas Valley, saved an hour vs taking it on pavement and since the gravel road was maintained, we were able to hit freeway speed in dirt!

Can't wait to hit up pismo next month!

That looks like a lot of fun.  Looked like you hit some serious whoops with the camera angle you had.

Thanks guys. It was fun times. He does have an awesome XJ. We are going to work on a new 8.8 rear axle truss for him.
