Title: Holy Jim Trail in Silverado Canyon
Post by: HEVAK on December 02, 2012, 02:33:55 PM
Since the North Main Divide to Santiago Peak was closed due to weather, a few of us hit Holy Jim Trail.

A few very capable Xterra's with some great drivers, some rocks, a lot of mud, a little poop, and a Taco rescue, made for some great times.

We asked the big red one to join us, but they said that they had to work. Oh well, they're loss.

Darwinism at its best. These guys were busy trying to remove themselves from the gene pool. Personally glad you gave them another chance to get it done right.
Nice pics, looks like you had fun.

great pictures ray.  had a lot of fun.  too bad you didnt get a picture of the little tree that saved that kids life and truck, maybe 3 inches at its thickest.  hopefully when he sobered up he realized how close he was to dying and will maybe lay off the drugs while 4 wheeling.

In my experience, these are the types of idiots that no matter what they do, they live....and often they end up killing good people. If it wasn't for Karma and trail etiquette, I'd would have preferred to just leave them up there to figure it out on their own. Sometimes a healthy dose of reality Sobers a person up quicker.

It takes a village to raise an idiot, and only one to kill the village. My .02  ;D
