Hi John, we're having a quarterly Adopt-a-Trail meeting tonight at Corona Sizzler (exit Magnolia on I-15). There will be over 100 people attending. On short notice, this would be a great opportunity to see directly what we do as a large team.
What part of the forest do you want to help out in? Hemet, Devore, Yucipa, Arrowhead, Big Bear?
Cleghorn is available.
I hope someone from your club can attend the meeting tonight.
Thank you,
Greg.
Can anyone from the Club make this tonight?? I know it is short notice, but would be a huge insight.
And as Greg mentioned, Cleghorn is available. I know we spend a good amount of time there, and it is close. Might be just the ticket to get involved.
Please let me know ASAP, and I will get back to him. I would go, but I am locked down with homework and Alex.

Damn wish I could make this one.
-
What time is at? Its too last minute for me.
-
So.......
I tried to make this from downtown LA. After driving for 1.5hrs and already 30 min late...I realized I was only half way there. I pulled the cord. There was no way I was going to make it in time.
Sorry fellas.

Danny...thanks for the effort. I didn't realize until much later in the day that no time was listed.
I responded to Greg's email letting him know that it was too short notice for anyone to make it, but to please consider us for a trail in Big Bear. ie: Burns Canyon/2N02.
Personally I think this would be a good trail to start with, and is easily accessible for both 2wd and 4wd members of SCCX.
I will let everyone know when Greg gets back to me with more details, and hopefully we can represent in March of 2013 at the next quarterly meeting.

Count me in.

Count me in for March too. Maybe we can team up and car pool out there. Anything to beat the traffic.
-
Danny and Terry...as soon as I hear back from Greg I will update.
Hopefully there is something we can accomplish between now and March.
Thanks for chipping in. :)

A couple days notice would have been nice. We could have gone somewhat prepared with something, taken notes, something.

wish we'd known in time. it was very close to us.
Ghost, are their qtrly meetings always held in same area? or do they rotate and hold their mtgs in various area of south land?

I'm not sure on locations...I have yet to hear back from Greg since the meeting. Sent him an email and I will follow up again today.
