For some inspiration, I thought I would start this compilation of camping photos. Im not sure why I never thought to take pictures of the actual campsites and have very few. But the ones I do have sure bring back some nice memories. I would love to see everyone elses photos as well.

This is a cool thread...thanks for sharing everyone.

Okay CANVAZ II campers, don't forget to take camping pictures so we can show the diversity of what we're all about. Candid paparazzi photos are always welcome, although in this case, clothing optional pics need to pass the review process before being posted. :P

This is what you get when you challenge an intoxicated "name protected person" thats says he can build a tent in the dark, eyes closed at 2am Saturday morning before the first day of CANVAZ. ::)

If my eyesight is as good as ai think it is, it looks like a Jayco.
Been looking at these pop-ups for some time. How does the Frontier tow it with 33s?
-
Duh...thanks Paul, you are correct.
I owned a Coleman and really enjoyed camping in it. Hot in the summer, and didn't insulate too well in the really cold months, but great for sleeping/camping with the family.
Mine weighed in at about 3,700 lbs. and I pulled it with a V8 Tundra...like a breeze. I bet the Frontier wouldn't have too much trouble towing one of these if it was hauled dry.
-
Dry hauling is key.
-
It does great when we are loaded for a weekend trip. When we do our week long trip to Death Valley and we are really loaded down...probably overloaded it still does pretty good. Going up and down Townes Pass is the only scary part. The trucks brakes overheat on the way down, but I think I need to work on the trailer brakes, they are surge brakes and I don't think they are working correctly.
I think i need a weight distributing hitch because the tongue weight is too high. I have two 6 volt batteries in the front that that make it heavy. I plan on getting the OME medium duty springs at some point, so that night help as well.
