I wanted to get a feeler from everyone here on what their opinion is on the recent changes we've been undergoing here at SCCXterra. John (GhostX ) has taken a lot of time and and an even greater effort to overhaul the site in an effort to make specific topics easier to search. The club veterans are familiar with navigating the forums, but lately, we've seen an increase of new Xterra owners with new and used X's who are looking to upgrade their rigs or simply maintain it in decent, running condition. Particularly useful is the dedicated How-To section which joins the individual 1st Gen & 2nd Gen Tech sections.
So, what would you like to see changed here? How would you improve the site?

More variety of smilies / emoticons please. ;D

Shouldn't the 1st Gen Tech section read "1999 -2004" instead of 2000?

Well...production was 1999 but model year was 2000.
We can change it if you think it is important, but most other forums have the model year 2000.

I think it's important. I would suggest a compromise. Let's list it as:
2000* - 20004
*Production was 1999 but model year was 2000.
I see this as the only real option we have.

I noticed that the Xcursion Guidelines has popped up a lot lately. Was wondering if, 2/3rd of the way down, under the FRS Communications, we can add a note that some radios, like the budget Midland radios, do NOT have a privacy code option. And while you can hear the conversation, they won't be able to join in on the conversations. I found this out the hard way on the trails.

Has anyone ever clicked on the Main page the "Resources" button, that there are'n any good links there? Can we put our sister clubs on there like XOC, thenewx, NOR, AZXC, NEXT, Nissan North America, Nissan Japan, etc.?
