That's a great question

Cleghorn is a road about 20 min's north of where the 15 and 215 meet. It's a fire road that parallels the 138, heads east off the 15 and takes you to SilverLake. It's basicaly a 2wd fire road that has some nice intense 4wd sections along the way. Every single obstical can be bypassed in a mini van. Most of the obstacles can be seen from the fire road and a descision to take or bypass can be made there.

Thanks for posting the pics of the last run Hennie!

This is all true, great post Danny.  I was just joking about the 2WD friendly aspect of Cleghorn...seems to me Randy (RBDuffer) and Steve (Usko99) drove around and got more than they bargained for out there.  They even helped a Tacoma Prerunner recover his truck after he rolled over.  The winch video is around here somewhere...pretty cool.

Danny,

0845 at the Cleghorn trailhead is a perfect time.

I will be at the 210/57 at probably 0840-0845. If anybody would like to roll together give me a yell.  I will be on CB channel 17 or if you would like I will PM you my cell number.

Do we have an exit off the freeway and a meeting location?  Since I have a hard time finding things in my own backyard, I probably need a little more information so I don't miss it again.

CAWoody.
I Pm'd you with my cell No....anyways. I will be rolling out of the Starbucks in La Verne at 0845 tomorrow morning located at 1181 Foothill Boulevard, La Verne. We will be at trail head around 9:15-ish. Cleghorn has its own exit off of the 15. It's immediately south of the exit for the 138. We will be on CB channel 17. Hope to see you guys there. The trail head is about 50yrds east of the freeway exit.

Yes Ray, it's a 2wd fire trail with over a dozen optional paralleling, moderate to difficult trails, along the way.  You can bite off as much as you want to chew every mile.  It's a MUST for you Ray :o
Great camera work boys!

Make sure that you invite USKO(Steve) when you go, he can keep you out of the hell that we found.  I'm just as likely to lead you right down it.  Let's get out soon, somewhere!!!

It was a fantastic day.  Great opportunity to test the limits of the mild mod X like mine.  I will definitely be looking for some sliders soon, a few too many close calls, or as Danny called them pucker points.  Nothing like hitting the gas and the brake at the same time going through the tight areas and seeing which corner you can get higher off the ground.

All in all a great time.  Thanks to Terry and Danny for guiding me through and Steve for keeping us on the trail.  A few times I think he was being a little cautious trying to impress his girl. :D :D ;D

Steve led us to that spot. He said "You and Terry go that way, Me and Tim will wait on the other side." It had a high butt pucker rating for sure.

Ahhhh yes...so much to say!  Ha!

When I get the time for sure Randy...Alex started 7th grade today so I may lose a little weekend flexibility with homework etc.

There will be some time for sure.

Randy, I had Danny and Terry go on the last part (difficult) part of the trail and I bypassed with Tim...

All I can hear on the CB was danny and terry crying!!! LOL...(just kidding..)  nah but they did it like nothing happened... since both rigs are fully locked and lifted, they did it the JEEP way... just amazing...
